We study how companies use video, measure what actually gets watched, and publish the data behind every answer.
Random samples
We draw companies at random from lists of real firms, so the answer is not shaped by the companies we already know.
Fair comparisons
Like with like: a video against its own company's videos from the same months, never against someone else's.
Open data
Every study links the rows behind it, the rules we used to sort them, and the places it could be wrong.
Which videos get watched on a mid-size company's YouTube channel
We compared 18,822 videos from 166 company channels with the videos each company posted around them. Product demos won. Videos about the company itself lost.
